Travel Express International has been a proud sponsor of the Long Motorsports #00 Monte Carlo and Grand Prix and driver Stacy Long in the Winston Racing Series Late Model Stock Division at Lanier National Speedway since 1997. Driver Stacy Long is a lifelong resident of Chestnut Mountain, Georgia. A graduate of Johnson HS, Stacy is the manager of Darrell's Auto Sales. Stacy started racing at Lanier National Speedway in 1994. During his rookie season, we won 7 races and finished 2nd in overall points. The 1997 season started with 3 top 10 finishes in 3 races. As a result of new ownership and managment, Stacy had 3 trips to Victory Lane, 8 top 5 finishes, and a number of top 10's. Flying new colors and a new number, Stacy moved into the '98 season with 4 poles, 9 second place finishes, and 4 top 5's, and ended the season #2 in points. In 1999, the team has built a brand new Grand Prix and we are going for First Place! |
